Now that I've given this gift, I can post some pictures! I made this for my daughter and I really had fun making it. It was to be for Mother's Day, but I couldn't wait and gave it to her on Easter instead. The book is filled with pictures of my oldest granddaughter. I've always said "I am not a scrapper and I will never do scrap booking"...well, make a liar out of me...I decided to try it and I actually loved the process! So...never say never...
It's 5"x5" and each page is chipboard covered with papers and then embellished. I used my zutter binding machine to put it all together.

WOW! This really turned out beautifully Elizabeth. You put so much work and love into it. I know your daughter must have fallen in love with it. I'm like you, I would have given it early. No way I could have waited until Mother's Day - LOL!
