Today I worked in a watercolor book I really like: Watercolor for the first time, by a talented young artist Kory Fluckiger. I love his style- he does a wash background with a focused, detailed drawing as the focal point.
Here is my attempt at Technique 2, Paint using a controlled wash.
A quote comes to mind: "In order to become a good artist, one must be willing to be a bad artist." That about sums it up!!
I do love painting in watercolors~ I just don't practice enough...
