WOW! I'm looking at this with you on the phone. I am so struck by the stark contrasts. I keep thinking of family portraits, how we would smile for the camera regardless of what lay beneath the surface. And all the times my mother said to people when asked how she was, "I'm fine, how are you?" This image captures that for me. Love the title too!
