Tinnies - recycled wonderfulness!

A few years ago Lisa Kaus shared her delightful 'tinnies' in Somerset Magazine. I knew some day I would make one. That day was yesterday. I had a nice day with my oldest daughter. She came over and while I made this tinnie, she did her scrap booking. I am not a scrapper, but I can appreciate her enthusiasm for scrap booking.
Now that I've made one tinnie, my mind is spinning with new ideas. I can see a whole series of these little cuties! I am now saving all of my tin cans for future tinnies. What a wonderful way to be green! I used vintage lace, millinery, collage paper, acrylic paint, velvet ribbon and rusty wire.
It's now the middle of winter, so I focused on the idea that Spring is around the corner...Amen!

I'm thinking this would make a great project for one of our future meetings.

I love the idea to use these at the wedding - and the daisies would be perfect! Everything you do looks so professional - lol, mine would have looked like a Girl Scout project.
