learning to solder

one thing I did while 'on vacation' was to take a one day work shop on soldering at a local stain glass store. The owner of the store, Toni, was terrific and the 5 of us students had a great day.

One thing I learned about soldering...as in most of life, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.

Today I made a collage charm. I created a small collage to fit the size of my cut glass and then applied copper tape and soldered. I hope to bet smoother results with more practice.

I'm glad to see someone is practicing!

Yours is very good...it really gets easier faster than you think...I did about 25 over Christmas and each one looked better. Everyone has their technique, and you'll find what works for you.
