I love Julia Child


I saw Julie & Julia last night. It reaffirmed my long standing love of Julia Child. I watched Julia on PBS in my young years and watched her confidence in the kitchen. I remember my mom trying some of her what-was-then-exotic dishes on us. She expanded our pallets. Thank you Julia.

In honor of Julia I made Chicken Tetrazzini this morning. No, it's not French. It is made from scratch with a white sauce and cooked chicken, spaghetti and Parmesan cheese. It is sublime and yummy.

Thank you Julia, for your love of life, your laughter, your energy, your confidence.
