There is something very basic and wonderful about making bread. It's soul satisfying and sort of MOTHER EARTH to make home made bread. I used my Kitchen Aid mix master with the dough hook to mix and knead the bread and that made it easy peasy. This being the first time I've ever made yeast bread, I made a basic white bread. The kitchen smelled fantastic! All yeasty and homey. (are those words?) And I don't mean Homey Boy.
I had bread for lunch and bread for dinner. And I'll probably have bread for breakfast tomorrow.

Didn't I tell ya? It is perhaps the most wonderful thing in the world!! A little butter, a little honey--mmmmmmmmmm, heaven! It looks gorgeous!!
