Photo wheels are still fun!

Tim Holtz is so creative. But you probably already know that.

Once of his newer dies is of a photo wheel. As soon as I saw it I knew it would be lots of fun to make my own photo wheels. I am currently making one using real images for a lady who is turning 90- for a photo album I am making for her. Her daughter sent me photos to use of her and people in her life. I'll post that one after the party.

The two here are going to be used for different albums or tags. One is seaside themed and one is using the beautiful papers from Kaisercraft called Curiosity

I love detail...so for me, I find this type of crafting sort of a Zen experience. Others may not like the fussiness of this one. I am showing my age with this post. Those of you who remember these are most likely 'of a certain age'. I loved them when I was a kid and still do!

Hey eBeth...I love your photo wheels! I still have my original View Master with lots of reels from the 1950s when I was a kid. It was always so special to get a new packet of reels. Here's to those of us "of a certain age" !!!

Elizabeth,
I am of that certain age and I remember these. I used to love mine. You know this is going on my list of "must have things" - lol! I love how this looks!
By the way, started a painting in my eBeth journal. My son designed a scene for his girlfriend's birthday ( he draws well, but does not color). So he asked me if I would color his image. I decided to watercolor it. Will post it on Facebook after he gives it to her.

Hugs,
Elaine

I would love to see what you did in the journal! I am slowly settling into my new beach house. Closing in Monroe in a week or so. Ox
