Anna Griffin card making

It's very pretty!

I spent part of my day making an easel card using my Anna Griffin easel die set. It makes a lovely stand up card. I added some embellishments I also made- the fan, the Happy Birthday sentiment the LOVE circle and the sparkly crown. I added some die cuts of flowers and called it a day.
I like making cards ahead of time so if a birthday comes up, I usually have a card ready to go. Or if I am too busy to make one, I can fallback on my stash of already cards.

I go from mixed media- to shabby chic- to elegant Anna and back again. I am all over the place with my card making. My mood really determines my card making, or if I am making for a specific person, I will try to make a card I think that person will appreciate.  Anyway, it was a lovely time card making today.

Purple for Christmas

5x7
I have a friend that loves the color purple. I made this Christmas card for her. I painted cardstock with Jaquard halo purple gold paint. Then I embossed it. Then I used an old Stampin' Up die set (retired) for the ornaments. I layered dark purple, gold and the paper I made. The angles are from Anna Griffin Christmas Angels.  I am not a huge fan of purple, but I do love how this card turned out.

5x7 card

Anna Griffin makes card making very easy. I used an embossing folder on a mat gold cardstock for the backgroud. Then I used various diecuts from her collections to complete. Very easy with great results!   When I need a card in a hurry, this is the way to go!

baby card

I am all about Anna Griffin these days. I love her style, opulence, layers and classic look to her cards. I made this in her style. I used her background die, the rattle and the saying stamps and dies.
The roses I made using Altenew 'Vintage Rose' stamp collection. I fussy cut the roses and added a touch of glitter. I really love how it turned out.  It is 5x7 in size, which I currently enjoy making.

I was invited to a 'sip and greet' to meet a new baby. This is the card I made for that event. The mom is an English gal who lives in Connecticut and I think she will like the traditional feel of this card.
