poppies and a rainbow

I haven't been able to do much painting this past week. I had a sore back that kept me from sitting too long- I had to stand and walk - sitting aggravated my back. Feeling better now!

I painted a similar painting last month. I wanted to paint it again with a stronger, yet still subtle rainbow. I love the image and idea of the birds flying through the rainbow. I would love to fly through a rainbow and painting it seems to be the closest way for me to do my rainbow flying :-)
