tough times for my in laws...

We've been in South Carolina for some time now taking care of my mother-in-law. She contracted that horrible bacterial infection known as 'C-diff'. It almost killed her. After being in the hospital for 21 days she was able to come home, but not be alone. That's where we came in. We've been here since she got out of the hospital. She is slowly getting her life back.

In the meanwhile, my brother-in-law passed away this morning...my sister-in-law's husband. He has been ill for about as long as my MIL. He was in a coma and there was no brain activity.
They were married for 28 years.

like I said...tough times for my in-laws...
