I painted this little ATC watercolor some time ago. I like how it turned out as it has a spontaneous feel to it. Which makes sense to me- I wasn't really 'trying' when I painted this- more intuition and feeling- which as I know to be true, usually results in a better painting. My usual "style" is more realistic, so this was a stretch for me.
People who know me do not often put my name and the word 'spontaneous' together in a sentence!

Very nice! I know what you mean about spontaneity -- I get all these creative urges and then when I sit down to paint, I get caught up in details and am disappointed in the outcome. If you figure it out, let me know! :)
This is a great little watercolor; everything one should be - free and loose. I had a great day with Chenoa on Sunday. We went Shopping for her Xmas dress. Thanks for your help the year I needed it. Love, Gayle
Ooh, it's beautiful! I was never able to paint landscapes, I envy anyone who can!
