sneak peak of my latest mini photo album

Here are some pictures of my latest mini. I just ordered a larger memory stick for my camera so I can take longer videos for You Tube and that won't be here until Saturday. So for now, still images. I had so much fun making this mini! I love the G45 Curiosity Shop papers and used them for this one. For the hinge I used Katy Orta's hidden binding system, which I think makes a great mini.  These are not in order. When I get my new memory for my camera I'll make and post a video on this one.

I made the lion head out of paper clay-cover

cover with window box and flowers. I made the tiny blue ones.
The rest are Prima flowers. The top of the window is a Tim Holtz die
and I made the rest of it by cutting up chipboard. I them painted and used
a crackle finish on it to give it an aged look.

Glitter on the pig wings...love these!
door that opens-behind it is a frame area. The door is embossed card stock
mounted on chipboard. I then rubbed on Gilders Paste.
I LOVE how this turned out!
stamped bottles to make a pocket
corset with hoop skirt made from Tim Holtz bird cage die
 cover

the clock is a pocket - I only glued it on at the bottom,
so you can tuck items in the clock. I grunged
up the clock with different colors of Gilders Paste.

my entry for the I'm So Witchy contest

Over at Creative Souls there is a fun contest I am entering. These are images of what I made for the contest. The rules call for using digital art from Moonlight Journey. I created an ATC sized mini book using the digital art that I purchased and then printed. I used my Zutter to bind the ATC's into a cute little mini.  "Rules for Halloween" is the title of my entry. Rules say either digital or non-digital art is allowed. Click on the Create Sould link above to visit and vote for your favorite art...

I used some of these same rules to make individual ATC's several years ago for an article for Somerset Holidays and Celebrations annual magazine. Those were individual ATC's that I later sold as a series of ACEO's on eBay.

another GARDEN mini scrapbook

Here is my latest mini scrapbook photo album.
If you would like to see more of it, I've made a you tube video of it.

I made the tiny eggs out of paper clay. The nest was too large, so i deconstructed it and then put it back together much smaller. I did a crackle finish on the white picket fence to give it that wonderful shabby look. The flowers along the fence is glittered moss with tiny sequin flowers and rhinestones.

new mini photo scrapbook envelope album

This book is a little different- I made it thicker so I can add embellishments on each page using a technique from another you tube video from 'follow the paper trail. It's shabby and pretty and all about Tea.  Hope you like it! Click here to watch. I love embellishments, so this has lots!
**SOLD**

Country French envelope mini photo album

I really enjoy making these little minis! This one is about 4" x 4" and has lots of pockets and tags. I used #10 business envelopes as the base and used beautiful color coordinated papers to cover each page and to make the tags. It has 12 pages total including the front and back cover.

I made a YOU TUBE video of it.

This mini is now SOLD.

New you tube vidoe - Curiosity Shop

Before I went on vacation I finished another mini photo scrapbook album. I loved how it turned out. I used the Graphic 45 Curiosity Shop papers, which are my current favorite. I imagined a real shop and made the book as if you were entering a real shop. I had so much fun making this- my mind wouldn't stop!  Here is a link to my you tube video for it. Part 1. I still have to upload part 2.

Just because it's pretty

I've been away on vacation and so it's been awhile since I posted anything. But I am back now. This latest item is pretty and that's all it is! It doesn't really have a function, just to stand there and be pretty. It's a scrapbook of sorts, but I didn't include any photo mounts. There are two tags and two pull outs. It's an accordion folded wire bound book that measures about 5" x 3.5". I covered chip board with papers from the Mariposa line and papers I designed in Photo Shop. Then I added lots of embellishments. It would look pretty on a mantle or shelf. This is now SOLD.
